...Climbing out of this boat I'm in, onto the crashing waves
(I am free to run)
(I am free to dance)
(I am free to live for you)
(I am free)
(I am free)
Newsboys~ gotta love 'em!(and if you don't, I have a closet with a nice lock....)
Christine - Every time they are in town I can't go. How frustrating. Someday, maybe. Until then I have to be content with my iPod!xoxo
The first line of the Newsboys song you quoted brought this little tune to mind from another quite awesome band . . . I wanna run, I want to hideI wanna tear down the wallsThat hold me inside.I wanna reach outAnd touch the flameWhere the streets have no name.I wanna feel sunlight on my face.I see the dust-cloudDisappear without a trace.I wanna take shelterFrom the poison rainWhere the streets have no nameWhere the streets have no nameWhere the streets have no name.
Freedom's just another word for, nuthin' left to lose... =o) I'm happy for you, chickynoodle. xo
Thanks Kel~ hugs!
We actually sang this song today at the conference. It was the first time I had heard it sung in a worship context. The worship band and leaders really rocked, and it was ironic that this song made an appearance after seeing it here on your blog.
