The first line of the Newsboys song you quoted brought this little tune to mind from another quite awesome band . . .
I wanna run, I want to hide I wanna tear down the walls That hold me inside. I wanna reach out And touch the flame Where the streets have no name.
I wanna feel sunlight on my face. I see the dust-cloud Disappear without a trace. I wanna take shelter From the poison rain Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name Where the streets have no name.
We actually sang this song today at the conference. It was the first time I had heard it sung in a worship context. The worship band and leaders really rocked, and it was ironic that this song made an appearance after seeing it here on your blog.

Every time they are in town I can't go. How frustrating. Someday, maybe. Until then I have to be content with my iPod!
