Christian Rock - blessing or blasphemy?
Rhetoric so similar to what I heard in my teen years that it scares me. Only then "secular" music was targeted. Hmmmm - so "Christian" teens took things into their own hands and created "acceptable" music. Here is one man's take on the result. This whole article amazes and frightens me. Check it out. BTW - I got so angry/frustrated I couldn't finish it......

I'm not even gonna go there~
By the way, I agree completely with how you felt about Saddam's hanging. Who can look at fear in someone's eyes and not feel sad for them, no matter how awful they were?
How old is that site? All the bands he mentioned were popular like 15 years ago! It looks (both from the archaic music references and the lack of web formatting) like someone wrote this back in the mid-90's when the internet was brand new and hasn't bothered updating it since. Anyone who thinks that Amy Grant is still the "queen-bee of Christian rock" is just a little bit behind the times. :)
LOL.
I know, but imagine what he'd do with current bands. The principle is the same. Bah! These kinds of people are just annoying troublemakers. Like I said - flashback.....
And why drag everybody’s mistakes into the discussion anyway - what does that have to do with anything?
....never did like Sandy Patti anyway. ;)
i stopped here: "and how did michael english respond to his "caught in the act"? did english show any Christ-honoring-repentance? not hardly — he's opening for the secular group foreigner! by the way, have you seen the cover of michael english's post-adultery album ? with long hair, and goat-tee, a la nirvana — the look of rebellion is openly flaunted."
so, what, is there a
repent-o-meter now and we are able to gauge who has TRULY repented? this is absolutely the most legalistic thing i have seen in a while.... ARGGGGG!!!
and everyone with a goatee and long hair is rebellious??? oh, my... i better go tell my husband to shave or he might be mistaken for a heathen....
ARGGGGGG again!!!!
