My grandpa

Thank you Aaron, for sharing this picture of the dedication on Marshall Hall at Cedarville University. He really was a pretty great guy!

So, then I got to thinking about my grandfather - I was only 13 when he died - and found these pictures I thought I'd share.

at the college - probably in the 60's

this must have been a Sunday morning

I was a flower girl in my uncle's wedding

Wow, I never realized that you were old enough to be at my parents' wedding! And you were the first grand child on the Marshall side of things anyway. Those pics are a trip. Glad we all look better now than we did then!

It's a precious blessing to have wonderful grandparents. My favorite one just passed away about 2 years ago, and I miss him very much. He was the person who most impacted me in my entire life.

It warms my heart to see the pictures of you and your grandad together... so many never knew grandparents at all. I count myself so fortunate that I knew not only all of my grandparents, but 4 of my 8 great grandparents... and one of my ggp's into adulthood...
